Heaven — Realm of Light

The City of Wings

Heaven is the city of light. Crystal spires rise into a sky that has no horizon. Roads paved with white stone catch the sun and refract it back as song.

Souls who arrive here have, in some sense, earned it — they helped, healed, defended, sacrificed. Heaven does not test its citizens; it rewards them. Plate armor lightens. Healing magic doubles. Wings appear, sometimes at first glance, sometimes only when needed.

The Paladins of Heaven do not crusade outward. They wait. When a soul wanders from Limbo or Hell and proves themselves, the city opens. There is no garrison at the gates because Heaven does not need one.

Buildings here are smaller than they look from outside — most are taller than they are wide, narrow towers stacked toward the sky. Inside, every chamber is a chapel. Every chapel is also a workshop. Light is the building material; the light is also the work.
